Initially, I had selected a skyline view, but after arriving and then seeing the view, I decided to upgrade to a Corner Queen room. This upgrade was a fantastic last-minute decision as it gave a great view of the Hudson River, Hell's Kitchen, plus the buildings to the north&north/east of 42nd. The location of Yotel is also great, as I found a couple restaurants nearby within 2 blocks on 10th, plus a deli (salads, drinks), and also a Target-store (fruits, drinks, or other incidentals). Yotel's location on 42nd puts it very close to popular locations like Time Square and Broadway, and if you are willing to walk, you could reach a few sites like the Empire State Building or the south-side of Central Park, or further depending on how far you are willing to walk. For those of you that prefer the subway, or need to go farther, the Port Authority is on 42nd between Yotel and Time Square. The complimentary Breakfast was a great start to the day, and had what I thought was an odd choice of breakfast foods, but turned-out to be a great choice to start-off energetically, and not lethargic.

For starters, the location of this hotel is just about as prime time as you can get. Times Square is quite literally a 5 minute walk with a whole bunch of great stores to spend all of your money at (personal recommendation is to visit IT'SUGAR). The room size is just enough for exactly what you should be doing in a hotel, SLEEPING and then LEAVING to go back out into the world. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever tried. The adjustability really added a great plus to my sleeping experience. The air conditioning/heating in the room was also very high quality and had an easy to use touchpad screen.

Our view from the queen room (with a view) was actually quite spectacular. The size itself is also a good bit larger, which to be honest really drives the value up. The bed, like all their other beds, are quite comfortable (blanket may be a little on the smaller side for two however). You'll never have an issue finding a taxi outside, and it's a quick bus ride to Times Square, or the Port Authority terminal for the subway. Hudson Yard is also a short walk away - and that's a nice spot to go through as well. PS. Use that towel warmer rack! Quite a nice thing after a shower - especially on a cold day.

The Hotel has self check in at the lobby check in kiosks. This streamlines the check in process. There is an attendent to help with any issues you may have with self check in. Upon check out just drop the electronic key in a checkout box. it was all very easy. The staff are all very helpful, approachable and friendly. Then Rooms aee snall but appear larger and are clean and comfortable. There is also a rooftop restaurant and fitness facility that i didnt use.

The room was small but with everything and with a nice view (we were at the 22nd floor). They changed towels every day and makes the bed. The position was good for going around the city even if the street was very noisy and a bit dangerous (but this is true for many streets in NYC). We didn't have to pay any extra fees at our arrival, everything was included! We booked with an offer and we had a very good price, and for that price it was an overall nice stay.
